About The Event
The transition from training to work continues to represent one of the most critical dimensions of our labor market, in which the various dysfunctions emerge in all their drama: misalignment between demand and supply of skills, delays in education, inadequacy of public services support for intermediation, low mobility of human resources, penalization of the job offer. Despite the fact that it is now common awareness that orientation in schools, especially the outgoing one, represents a decisive element in the educational experience of young people, in consolidating motivations, directing choices and strengthening chances the success of university and professional careers, this dimension continues to be still in too many cases neglected by the educational institutions of the country.
In recent years, important efforts have been made to increase the opportunities for exchange between schools, universities and the world of work, enhancing regulatory instruments and strengthening that informal network of projects and initiatives aimed at creating new tools and opportunities for students: first of all , the school-work alternation that affected 98.6% of graduates in 2018. However, there is still some question about the effective effectiveness of these tools.
From the field experience of the Labor Festival and the Student Hall, the "Job Orientation Salon" was born.
Appointment at Bologna Congressi-Fiera di Bologna for 19 March 2020 : a unique opportunity in which students, graduates, university students, undergraduates, graduates, sector operators, teachers and school managers will be able to deepen all the issues related to entry into the world of work and current changes.
The "Job Orientation Show" has in fact the main objective of helping to facilitate the dialogue between education and work. Therefore, it will provide ideas and tools to successfully enter the world of work and to know what the right wages are, to have information on the most requested skills and on those that are less sought after by companies, on the accompanying measures in the world of work, starting from training placements, from school-work alternation, from apprenticeship. All accompanied by individual interviews and themed seminars.
